Location: Moon Lake Soccer Fields, Rice Lake, WI
Directions: Hwy 53 to Rice Lake Exit 140, Head East on 18 ½ Ave (at the traffic circle it is 3rd exit to under bridge), go 1.1 miles to Left at (2nd Light) onto S Main St, go .5 miles to Right on E South Street to park.
Concessions Stand: A lunch menu, snacks and beverages will be available. This helps as RLSA operates on donations and fundraising.
Cancellations: Games will be canceled if severe weather is present or if there is a torrential down pour that results in excessive water on the fields. Games will be played in periodic rain or light rain conditions as long as lightning isn’t present. Visit RLYSA.com and facebook.com/ricelakesoccer for cancellation information. If the Jamboree has begun, play may be delayed and only if absolutely necessary will it be canceled and not be made up.
Game Reports: At the conclusion of each game, referees will present the game report to the coach of each team for verification. Coaches are asked to review the game report and sign it. In the event of a disputed game report, that cannot be resolved at the field, the report will be presented to the Jamboree Director for resolution. Game reports signed by both coach are the final record of the match.
Awards: Points are awarded as follows: 6 points for a win, 1 point for each goal up to 3, 1 point for a shutout, 3 points for a tie. Medals will be awarded to the 1st and 2nd place teams of each division. If the championship game were to end in a tie, the teams will play two 5 minute overtime periods. If the championship game is still tied after both overtime periods are played, there will be a shootout. Shootout will consist of 5 players from each team to determine the win. If still tied after initial shootout, 5 more players will be chosen and if needed will continue this way until the whole roster has been gone through. Standings will be posted at the Information Table.
Good Sportsmanship: This is a youth soccer Jamboree and we require coaches, players, and spectators to adhere to a strict zero tolerance policy for disruptive behavior. Any person being disruptive or acting inconsistent with fair play and/or the spirit of the game will be asked to leave the complex. Simply put, let’s encourage the players to put forth their best performance and the let the officials, volunteers, and others associated with the Jamboree strive to do their best as well. Verbal assaults and negative comments directed to others will not be tolerated.
